The new ZBook16-inch Workstation

Looking at size, the 16-inch G9 model is closer to the 15-inch G8 model in width and depth. As for weight, the new G9 model is much closer to the 17-inch G8 ZBook Fury.

While the 17-inch G8 model is clearly wider and deeper, the G9 is slightly thicker and only 100 grams lighter. The G9 comes in with an overall smaller footprint, however, the capacity and technology get a boost.

The GPU, CPU, and memory get a technology bump. The Fury G9 display shrinks to 16-inch with a higher resolution 16-to-10 aspect ratio 120 Hz IPS DreamColor display and a touch-enabled OLED option.

The slightly smaller, slightly lighter ZBook Fury G9 has a smoother, rounder design. The display is smaller, but displays more pixels. Connectivity is nearly identical with the 17-inch Fury G9. All of the technology has gotten a boost from the GPU options to the SSD storage.

The keyboard has a full number pad. The Fury G9 also has a large touch pad with integrated buttons on the bottom. On the right side of the handrest you will also find a fingerprint reader for security.

A Final Perspective

The 16-inch 2022 ZBook Fury G9 merges the 15-inch and 17-inch G8 models into a single offering. It basically tries to keep the size of the 15-inch G8, but it absorbs most of the weight of the 17-inch G8.

The high-end of the Fury G9 configuration promises desktop performance while on the road. And with a complete list of connectivity ports, you can leave your extra dongles at home.
